| Artbus arriva anche a New York, a Williamburg in particolare. E si fa di nuovo promotrice di una stimolante avventura di videoarte itinerante. Il 14 dicembre è stata la volta di Williamsburg, quartiere emergente dell’arte contemporanea newyorkese già attivo con un programma di opening collettivi tra le gallerie della zona ogni secondo venerdì del mese. Uno shuttle in partenza da Chelsea, quartiere storico delle gallerie di Manhattan, ha toccato varie tappe artistiche facendosi tappa esso stesso: l’iniziativa proponeva infatti anche “Videoscreenings”, un’ampia selezione di video di artisti internazionali proposto agli utenti dell’Artbus. Un modo stimolante e intelligente di personalizzare il tour, e per promuovere al contempo un tipo di arte non sempre di facile diffusione e ricezione per il pubblico >> |
